Yeah well Tasmania is a long way from anywhere,and its rare that we get a proper psychobilly extraviganza,with boys who dress up and jump about and take their shirts off exposing their heavily tattooed......sorry....sorry-should be fun though!22nd of september.

Yikes, is that ritual scarification I see on their pale, pale faced publicity photos? And do they really have as few teeth as the insect-head shot would suggest? Impressive dedication to their Art, but it does suggest that they might have more stagecraft than musicianship... Boy, am I turning into an old cat. Who cares. Have a great time!
We get lots of bands around here, but they tend toward tired hippie folkie acts, execrable New Age fusion jazz, or 70s/80s hair/metal bands down on their luck. Lately, though, somebody at the local theater (http://www.paramountvt.org/) has started booking better acts. But we don't have a really active local music scene. There aren't any cool little structurally unsound cellars full of smoke and music, and the few open mics are enthusiastically ignored even by the local musicians. Alas.
