Hens-a-poppin'!
My hens and chicks have run amok. Normally, they look like this.
But suddenly, they're doing this.
What's up with that? And they're clearly not done yet; check the one on the right.
I think they're desperately trying to spread their DNA before the thyme smothers them. Note to self: may be time to trim the thyme?
Sue, any idea if thyme is one of those plants that poisons anything that tries to grow near it?

Who knows where the thyme goes?
I don't think thyme does anything nasty to other plants. But it does love dry ,hard conditions best.I do love thyme.I think Hen and chicks does that 7 year thing that some succulents do.Thats not scientific I just think that some cacti and succulents go nuts every 7 years or so and do everything they can to reproduce .I could be deranged.
