Todays wonderful op shop find.

Im just thrilled to have found this wonderful tiny Anson Bros. album.there are about 50 images on tin about the size of my thumb nail in it . The quality is incredible as you can see from the image of the beautiful young man(remember my scanner isn't great)Still the hand colored images are so fresh. They would have been taken between 1870 and 1880.

Ooo-er missus, I'm so envious! What a fabulous find! You can't find that kind of thing in thrift shops here anymore. Not since the 70s at least. Everything's "collectible" these days, so the people who own the upscale vintage shops get there first, and we're left sifting through cracked ice cube trays, dusty paste and varnish bouquets, and belts for vanished cotton dresses.
