New Friend
We have a new little critter hanging around the office. She doesn't seem to be hurt and the river is about a 1/4 mile away, though I'm not sure why she's selected here to hang. So what should I feed her? I did give her some water and crackers though I'm sure that's not the best thing to feed her. I've named her Pearl.

I went to Petco and bought some duck food. I've given her a huge bowl of fresh water and a plate full of Duck Mash.
What a lovely girl! And such a nice name. I knew a woman back in the hippie days who had a daughter named Pearl and a pearly queen jacket that identified her as "Mother of Pearl."
Duck Mash. Is this a great country or what?

I admit to being particularly delighted at recently seeing a type of fertilizer that had the words "worm poop" prominently displayed multiple times on the package.
