An Egg display,a cake and fat fake KISS.

The egg display looks like it's at a county fair -- is it? How many birds are represented? Any marsupials? For that matter, do you ever find marsupial eggs? (How cool would that be?)

The nearby city hosts a county agricultural fair that's been running since the 1800s. When I was a kid, I used to love visiting the barn where all the chickens (sorry, chooks) were on exhibit. They were all breeds, sizes, colors, and shapes. The last time I went to the Fair, two years ago, the entire barn had been taken over by rabbits. Not meat rabbits; pet rabbits. There were only 2 cages of chickens on display amidst the fur. No disrespect intended to our recently departed pal, but I was greatly saddened; this fowl diaspora speaks volumes about the disappearance of farms hereabouts and the rate at which they are being replaced by suburbs.

...The best part of the fake Kiss photo is that they appear to be basking in what they imagine is your adoration...

We were glad to discover that the Royal Hobart Show is still really a rural affair, the poultry display is extensive .Marsupials are very hesitant to give up their eggs for display.
Fake Kiss have the faintly uneasy look of men under the gaze of a very amused middle aged woman-they new a real Kiss fan when they saw one, poor buggers.
