Omigod, you can grow lemons. I'm soooo envious. Heck, I'm envious that it's hot -- it's been right around 5 degrees F here all day.

Not that there's anything wrong with that!

But the windows are all frosted over, and I resent not being able to see outside.

Whose dog is that? Yours? If I were to get a dog, it would be an Australian shepherd. So smart, so much personality. Oh, and speaking of dogs, check this out: http://www.obeythepurebreed.com/

The pug, the boxer, and the German shepherd are especially obedience-inspiring!

Not my lemons unfortunatly I killed my lemon tree, but grown near by and bartered for with masses of Morgans fine coriander. Now what to do with them,Im thinking marmalade. We have many many large jars of preserved lemons so yeah, marmalade.
Well we have high fire danger today ,and Im not great in this heat-Im cleaning the house ,slowly-with home brew tasting in between and TWANG on the radio.
Our dog Ollie-an Aus breed called a Koolie, crossed with a Labrador, which I think is a really
good thing,it takes the manic edge off the working dog.But working dogs are a really different dog to train-ive allways had Terriers, who don't really give a f. what kind of freakout you have, because of their unshakeable conviction that they own you.Working dogs are really sensitive and can learn the wrong way easily-I think they are more prone to fear reactions ,and its really hard to fix problems.
Ollie is a sweetheart and just over a year old,(we got him at 4 or 5 months)but I don't entirely trust him and I realise I really have to control my temper with him-I can't yell at him.

Yes, I can completely see lab in the shape of Ollie's head! So maybe what we call an Australian shepherd is really a Koolie? The one I knew was shaggier and had a more pointed head, but her coloring was the same. And she was very intense and nervy. Sweet, though, and she was always smiling!
