Do you guys grow this?I think it's American.It grows so well here,just springing up all over the garden each spring and what we don't eat or sell to resteraunts the chickens devour.
Connie, it dies back for winter, but it has already spread its seed (excuse me) so we use it as a kind of weed suppresser that we can eat. Or I do, anyway. This stuff and parsley, between the two, not many weeds can get through. Not as many....

It's kind of like cress,without the heat.Fleshier than lettuce,but yeah I use it like lettuce.It won't keep though,it has to be used fresh.
I looked it up, because I thought it was Welsh, but it's a Nth American native plant. In fact it's a Californian native plant. Grows like stink here.
I think I've seen it at garden centers. Our winters would kill it, I think, but it might work as an annual. Mmmm, salad.
