Crocus


Getting a collection of these tiny treasures.These arn't the type but Ive got grand visions of growing enough saffron crocus to cook with

I too would like to grow the saffron crocus, but it's too cold here by a zone. I may try anyway, though; that bank out back of the house that is covered with daylilies in June is sheltered from the worst of the winds and not only faces south, it's tilted up toward the south. Fingers crossed!

I grow my crocus in pots-they tend to get lost in the garden.But I supose pots would probably freeze more easily.The south facing bank is worth a try-ive seen them growing in the snow.Your day lilies(from your previouse post) are beautiful.
