Of course, of course! I remember that chore. Kind of loses its charm when you do it daily. Still, my garden would appreciate it if I were to find someone with horses and ingratiate myself.
Don't the chooks help out? With making manure, I mean, not with pitching it. I've heard that keeping chooks in hops rows is a good way to keep the hops bug-free and well-fertilized.
