What gives the quince the red hue? Aren't most quince pale? They all look so pretty.
I really want to grow quince but I have only ever tasted store bought quince jams and butters which are not great. I wish someone around here was making a jell like that so I could taste it for myself!

I have been very much enjoying everyone's pictures here.
I am going to go on a mad search for fresh quince this fall to try and make some jelly. If I like it then I could plant a quince for myself.
