We have been on Bruny Island for a couple of days-A. has been putting in this kitchen bench-it's a pressy for our mate Annie who allows us to share this wonderful place.How about the washing up view.You can check out the shack set if you like ,just click on the pic.It will be updated as the building goes on.

So that's why you've been so quite. That's a lovely piece of work. Why's the tap a joke? I thought I saw plumbing in one of those photos(?). I've used a similar arrangement, hose-fed, which drained into a bucket under the sink. Functional, but lugging the bucket out to the slops got tedious after awhile.
Still snowing here. If I can get out from under my blizzard of deadlines I'll post more photos...
The tap is a joke because Annie has been having anxiety attacks(and giving the builder and plumber stress) about what type of tap to have.I think she has it sorted now.

We had 14 inches of snow on St. Pat's day and another 10 or so the next. Rain forecast for tonight. The freezing variety, ugh! Spring is coming: We're now seeing birds that we last saw in September, but I fear for them. Two days after I saw the first bluebirds, the temp dropped to -25. What do they do when it's so cold? What do they eat when everything is still snow-covered?
Finally got back on skis yesterday for the first time since the stupidity. Had to quit after only 3 runs, because my knee was complaining, but fears of lasting crippledom are now vanquished. Yah!!!
